My husband and I are writing to seek your guidance and support in responsibly rehoming our rescued indie female puppy, Hela.
My husband works long office hours (10–11 hours daily), and I will be joining the office next month. This would mean Hela would be left alone at home for long stretches, which we feel would not be fair to her at this age. We do not want to abandon her or make an irresponsible decision. We want to ensure she finds a safe, loving, and permanent home.
We rescued Hela when she was approximately one month old. At the time of rescue, she was completely healthy, with no ticks or fleas. Since then, she has been raised in our home with care and love. She is now 4+ months old, fully vaccinated, healthy, and very energetic. We have complete vaccination records and medical details available. We also spoke to our in-laws about the possibility of keeping her in our hometown, but unfortunately, they are not in a position to take responsibility for her. This decision has been extremely difficult for us. My husband works long office hours (10–11 hours daily), and I will be joining the office next month.
