Sample goes to a partner lab
The sample is properly labelled, packaged in a cold chain if required, and delivered to our accredited partner lab. You get a confirmation the moment it reaches.

CBC — Complete Blood Count
Red cells, white cells, platelets. The first-line test in almost every panel we run.
Peripheral Blood Smear
Manual slide review of blood cells — flags anaemia, infection and immune issues a counter can miss.
Liver Function (LFT)
SGPT, SGOT, ALP, albumin, bilirubin. Screens for liver disease and toxin exposure.
Kidney Function (KFT)
Creatinine, BUN, uric acid. Critical for senior pets and those on long-term medication.
Blood Glucose
Random and fasting glucose levels. Screens for diabetes in dogs and cats.
Cholesterol
Lipid levels often rise with thyroid disease and pancreatitis — part of our senior panel.

Before the visit
For most panels, no. Fasting is only required for a few tests like lipid profile or fasting glucose — and if it applies to the panel you choose, we confirm the exact instructions when you book, so there's never any guesswork on the day.
During & after collection
A certified vet partner gently locates a vein — usually the cephalic vein in the leg — and draws the sample in a couple of minutes. It's the same quick prick used at any clinic, but in a calm, familiar setting, which most pets tolerate far better.
It's rare, but if a clean sample can't be drawn on the first visit — for example with a very anxious or dehydrated pet — we reschedule a second attempt at no extra cost, or fully refund your booking. You're never charged for a collection that didn't happen.
Your report
Most reports are delivered within 24–48 hours of collection, depending on the panel. Time-sensitive tests like progesterone come back faster, in 12–24 hours. You'll get a notification the moment your report is ready.
