I am a senior lady and with age, it is becoming difficult for me to care for my fur baby. My only daughter is settled overseas, I plan to visit her for extended periods of time and will not be able to take Masti with me. I have had him since he was a little kitten and love him very much. I hope to find a family for him that loves him just as much as I do.
Masti is an oriental mix breed (we think so because of his structure and body type), black and white in colour with a distinct pirate patch fur colour pattern around his eyes. He is in perfect health, the vets have always complimented me on how beautiful a cat he is with a shiny black coat on a sleek slim torso and long legs like a wild cat. Masti’s diet is primarily dry cat kibble with occasional treats. I just leave the kibble out in his bowl all day, refilling it as needed. He eats whenever he is hungry, just as much as is needed and doesn’t overeat. His water drinking habit is a funny quirk - he will usually jump up to an accessible tap and wait for me to open it to a thin stream to drink flowing water directly from the tap. He is not a big fan of drinking stagnant water, but might be okay drinking from the buckets in the bathroom if no one is around. He is active, loves playing with laser toys and other interactive toys. He is an independent cat, who will socialize with his human family on his terms, he will not qualify as a lap cat. He has been the king of his world at our place and will prefer such a place where he is the only animal in the house. He is okay with children ages 6 and up who understand or can be taught how to be around cats. Play and interactions must be supervised until the child is comfortable reading cat body language. He has good litter habits and is very particular about being clean. I do give him a bath in lukewarm warm water every once a while to keep his white fur looking nice and bright. Overall he is a beautiful, healthy and adorable cat with a unique personality!
